On the best road in the world

Late August this summer I had the chance to drive back and forth though the Southern Carpathians on the road which is called by many the best road in the world to drive on:

The Transfogarasian

Well, the joy of driving this road is probably not the best way to experience with a sixteen years old compact car filled with four adults and their luggage for four days of stay, but the beauty of the scenery, the marvel of nature and the dignity of these mountains is out of question.

The way back on Transalpina road was not less amazing and the whole trip remains as a lifetime experience to me.
